Dammam –  July 7, 2025- The Global City project in Dammam welcomed a high-profile delegation on Monday, as H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, the Ambassador of Thailand in Saudi Arabia, along with representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh and members of the Thai private sector, toured the development site of one of the Eastern Province’s most ambitious entertainment and commercial destinations on July 6th 2025.

During the visit, the Ambassador expressed strong interest in the project and reaffirmed his commitment to encouraging Thai investors to explore opportunities within Global City. He described the project as a promising platform for fostering cultural exchange and economic cooperation between Thailand and Saudi Arabia. 

The visit generated significant interest from Thai entrepreneurs, with several expressing intent to invest in and lease commercial spaces within the development. Organizers of the visit noted that such enthusiasm reflects Global City’s growing appeal to international investors.

Global City is positioned to become a major regional hub for entertainment, retail, and cultural experiences. Its developers aim to create a potent environment that connects global communities and offers a platform for international collaboration.

This visit marks a positive step in strengthening Thai–Saudi relations and underscores the broader view of Vision 2030 in transforming Saudi Arabia into a global investment destination.
